Lots of people were married in Nevada last year--about 125,000. A big part of the reason so many folks chose to wed in the state is that it''s easy. In Las Vegas, marriage licenses are available at the Clark County Courthouse from 8 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday, and 24 hours on Friday, Saturday, and holidays. In Reno, the Washoe County Courthouse is open for marriage licenses from 8 a.m. to midnight daily, including holidays. In Carson City, the marriage license division is open daily except Thanksgiving and Christmas.
